We believe this tournament concept can provide revenue for ALL Jr Golf Programs in perpituity. With the support of Golf Professionals, Golf course owners and Golfers worldwide, we can distribute a significant proportion of the entry fee to these worthy programs everywhere.

We are demonstrating the tournament concept here. This is a proof of concept website. The scope and size of this tournament would bring golfers together from all around the world to compete in events run as often as there is a demand for them. For now we run a SIMULATED tournament event daily. We hope you will look at the FAQ's to see the details of how we can accomplish this feat while giving golfers everywhere a means to compete in levels of competition to fit their golfing competetive desires. Please note that 85% of the fee is paid out in prize's in amounts that satisfy USGA rules as well as a winner take all that offers a prize incentive for golfers who do not intend to golf in USGA sanctioned events. Professional golfers are welcome. 10% of entry fee's would go to Jr Golf programs in each State predicated on participation levels of each State.


The Internet has made it possible for Golfers to come together in one place, throw a few bucks in the pot and compete with other Golfers from All over the World on a DAILY basis!

Please NOTE: The Golf Courses listed in this simulation are NOT CURRENTLY participating in the BIGBLITZ, though we hope they will consider it soon. We use real course names only to demonstrate what the potential is for the BIGBLITZ INTERCLUB events. They have not endorsed the concept. The simulated Golfers, scores and handicaps are randomly generated to create a realistic BIGBLITZ INTERCLUB event environment with thousands of particpants. We will run a BIGBLITZ INTERCLUB simulated event daily at 6:35 PM while we build our Club Roster. There will be 2 events: Winner take all and 1 winner in 40.

For LOCAL events, Entrants will compete only against members of their own club. The LOCAL event will start with 1 person in the money for every 4 entrants

This is full handicap (MAX 36), 4 PERSON (Men AND Women) Team, medal play tournament. You must play your round in an organized golf event where your scores can be verified. A daily blitz or any medal play format. No scramble type, best ball events. The event must adhere to USGA rules with local rules prevailing and you must putt out ALL putts, No Gimmes, No Mulligans. As we grow, the payout ratio will change. (i.e. 1 in 10 or 1 in 20 even Winner take all). We have the flexability to conduct varieties of events including events within a region, within a country, within a continent, within a timezone, the whole World! We can offer varying fee and award events. There is almost no limit to the types of events we can run.

We are going to begin at Coosaw Creek, SC and add other Charleston SC particpating courses. Once we have determined the program is stable, we will begin playing for cash prizes. Entry fee will be $10 per event. Payout will be 80% of entry fee. Prizes will be awarded in cash and gift certificates determined by the Pro and awarded to four member teams. The Big Blitz will run on days we can get 12 OR MORE golfers willing to particpate. Entries can come from a combination of events during the golfing day. If you have a Early Bird blitz, and a 9 am blitz and an afternoon blitz, we can accept scores from all of these events. Ladies are most welcome.


HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. 1st time registration we will need your name, SCGA ID and handicap. We use the the Club ID and the last 5 digits of that number. If you want email notification, your email addr. Out of State Visitors must have their State HDCP ID

2. After you have registered sign up for the days event on the Signup sheet at the Pro Desk.

3. Play your round

4. Post your score on the Signup Sheet. The Pro will enter them into the computer after all scores have been posted. Your NEW Big Blitz handicap will be computed after every round to 6 digits.

5. As soon as all PLAYERS have posted their scores at your course the Pro will run the LOCAL tournament.

6. The INTERCLUB events are run daily at 6:35pm from our offices. THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT!
